For the last hundred years, one medium has had more impact in a shorter time than any before it. We decide what to buy, what to believe, and who we are by the content of this medium. In a matter of seconds, something impossible becomes fact: we watch Neil Armstrong walk on the face of the moon, and humanity enters the cosmos together. We call this medium video. And while video is now everywhere, the technical requirements for delivering video are more complicated than ever.
At uStudio, we’re passionate about this amazing medium so we’ve made it our mission to make video simple for anyone whose business depends on it.
Not long ago, we were in the media and marketing business, spending days and nights making original videos for audiences of all shapes and sizes. Our goal was to ensure that our video investments found their way to glorious returns, which meant delivering content to every platform, device and screen imagineable.
Pretty soon, we were spending more time figuring out how to ingest, format, distribute and track our videos than we were spending actually making them. The hours were long, the complexity never-ending.
We built uStudio to give you what we wished we’d had — a powerfully simple solution for managing videos everywhere they need to go. We think you'll like what we've built. Try it and let us know what you think!
Our team is a mix of filmmakers, savvy engineers, marketers and entrepreneurs all with a singular desire to simplify the world of video. Early in her career, she spent 15+ years creating and implementing strategic marketing and integrated communications programs across a range of technology, consumer and public service organizations. A cum laude graduate of Boston College, Jen is a frequent speaker at industry events related to the intersection of media, marketing and technology such as SXSW, Digital Hollywood, and OMMA. uStudio is financially backed by Eon Corporation, formerly known as TV Answer, the industry’s first interactive television services business and the inventor of the IVDS (Interactive Video Data Services) protocol. Started in 1986, Eon is a pioneer in the wireless communications industry, owning dozens of patents relating to how data is transmitted over fixed and mobile wireless networks. Many of the company’s inventions serve as the foundation for today’s digital media architectures and protocols — enabling a broad array of devices and networks, and a variety of enhanced communications, video, telemetry and interactive services.
