It’s pretty much accepted that companies should have a presence on social network platforms like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc.

 

What you do with it after you have one is really what matters.

Just posting links or text updates isn’t likely to build up your ‘fan’ base on encourage people to share, or click on a link to go to your site. That’s where media comes in.

A picture or video on your company’s profile or twitter posts is much more likely to be shared than a regular post. If you’re company has video, don’t just post it on your site and link to it on social platforms. Take the extra step and post videos and pictures directly!

You’re going to be much happier with the results in the long run.
