You've done the hard work to get your podcast launched and running. Now it’s time to accelerate your growth by promoting your podcast to your audience where they spend most of their time while at work.

1. Promotional Embeds

A promotional embed is a visually appealing preview of an episode that you can embed on any web page your employees use during the course of their work day.

This can be your intranet, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, email, or any web page used internally.

Clicking on the promotional embed directs the user to the uStudio mobile app or web app (depending on what device they’re using at the time).

How to Access Share Links

• Navigate to a published Episode within the PMC.
• Click on the chain link icon next to the Episode.
• That will open a modal to get a direct sharing link to the episode.
• There is now a second tab for "Promotional Embed" that gives you the code to embed a Discovery Link in any website.

Pro tip: Workaround for the Promotional Embed

You may run across systems that don’t support our promotional embeds. No problem! You can still incorporate these visually striking promotional elements to get your content in front of your employees.

• Take a screenshot of the promotional embed preview.
• Click on the “Sharing Link” tab. You will need to copy this link for later use.
• In your email system, click the “Insert Photo” icon to insert the screenshot of the promotional embed.
• Highlight the screenshot by clicking and dragging your cursor over it. Make sure to highlight the image instead of just clicking it, so you can hyperlink the image properly.
• Select the "Insert Link" icon at the bottom of the window.
• Paste the episode share link you copied from the PMC.
• Your promotional embed screenshot should now be hyperlinked.

2. Share Links

Universal Share Links are another great promotional tool for your private podcast. They offer a direct link to a podcast episode so your employees can view the episode right in the web page or app they’re using, just like you can embed a YouTube video in a blog post and watch the video from the blog article.

After creating and uploading an episode to uStudio, just copy the link in the uStudio Podcast Management Console and embed it wherever you want it to appear.

How to access share links

• Go to the Podcast Management Console.
• Go to the Shows tab on the left menu.
• Select the show to which you published the episode.
• For each episode you'll see link icons next to the Unpublish button.
• Click the link icon next to the episode you want to share.
• Copy the link by clicking the icon to the right, or by highlighting the link and then copying it.

You can add share links to:

• Email signatures
• Calendar invites
• Intranet pages
• Your chat app
• Social media groups

3. Use QR Codes that link to your podcast episode

QR codes can be conveniently placed in order to link to a show or episode in the physical and digital locations your employees frequent.
