uStudio Introduces Customization and Interactivity for Embeddable Facebook Video Players
uStudio | Interactive Video, News & Events, Video Platform
The number of videos posted to Facebook per person in the U.S. has increased 94% over the last year, with 50% of Americans who use Facebook on a daily basis watching at least 1 video on the platform every day. These statistics demonstrate the rapid growth of video sharing on the social network and its potential to be a serious rival to YouTube in the video space.
Today, Facebook strengthened its position by announcing the availability of an Embedded Video API. Among other benefits, this allows businesses to create custom experiences with Facebook players and will serve to increase adoption of Facebook video overall. In conjunction with this news, uStudio announced that our HMTL5 Interactive Player Framework is the first authoring platform to create immersive, next-generation video experiences for businesses using Facebook players — bringing audiences closer to the brands they love and converting attention to action.
Below are three examples of video players, all made possible by uStudio’s Interactive Player Framework.
The uStudio-powered Interscope Records Player features email subscription options as well as ecommerce opportunities for purchasing tour tickets, wrapped around Selena Gomez’s “Revival” event announcement.
The CEA Player focuses on event promotion and registration actions for the International CES 2016 Conference held in January.
The Disney Player features unique branding and ecommerce links for purchasing the new “We Love Disney” album.
